- Significant Investment: Must make and maintain a complying significant investment of at least AUD 5,000,000 in Australia
- Complying Investment Framework: At least 20% in venture capital/growth private equity, 30% in emerging companies, 50% in balancing investments
- State/Territory Nomination: Must be nominated by a state or territory government or Austrade
- Source of Funds: Must demonstrate funds are lawfully acquired and available for transfer to Australia
